Pro Service

Setup in 3 Simple Steps

1. The user creates, funds, and owns their crypto exchange account.

The passivbot manager does not custody the user’s funds.

2. The user creates an API on their crypto exchange account.

This will be the key interface for the passivbot manager to manage trades with passivbot on behalf of the user. The passivbot manager will assist you in ensuring the API is created correctly, such as enabling IP restrictions, enabling futures/spot trading, enabling read-write. In addition, the passivbot manager will assist you in securely transferring API key/secret-phrase/passphrase.

Note, there are subtle details important to keep in mind before creating an API, for example

  1. KYC verification (if needed by the exchange)

  2. Funding your spot wallet (any amount) to activate your account

  3. Enabling 2FA or other security measures for your account

  4. Activating futures trading by going to “Futures Trading” tab and completing a quiz

3. The user signs up for passivbot manager service.

While the user is free to chose their trading strategy for passivbot (e.g., select coins, wallet exposure, trading long vs short, etc.), a demonstrative tool is available here for assistance.
